Nancy was born in the seaside town of Blankenberge, Belgium and
grew up in her family run hotel. Her love of horses began at the tender age of
six and she started her first horse related job at sixteen, working for a
regional champion. By the age of 21 she had joined the team of Jean Claude Van
Geensberge, a two time winner of the Aachen Grand Prix. This acclaim took her
through Europe, where she worked for such legends as Eddie Macken (four time
winner of the Hichstead derby, second at world championships at Aachen in 1976
and numerous grend prix), Dirk Hafemeister (team gold at Seoul, team gold W.E.G
the Haag, 5th at the world cup finals in Shertogenbosch), and Jan Tops (team
gold at Barcelona, Individual 6th in Seoul), and also for Almox at the sam time
Ludger Beerbaum brought back the gold medal from Barcelona.
All these great riders and their vets have given her their insight as to how to
take care of horses under all conditions, traveling by truck, ship or plane, to
most venues around the world, rain or shine. She brings 37 years of experience
- riding, teaching and currently running the Las Vegas Equestrian Center. She
speaks five languages, Flemish, French, German, English and Spanish.
