Ride and Drive is an unusual, thrilling speed event involving horses and automobiles. Competitors jumps eight fences by horse, then dismounts and hops into a car to complete the remainder of the course. The automobile portion of the course is lined with traffic cones, each with a ball perched atop it. For every ball that is knocked off, the rider is assessed four faults. This event, popular in Europe, is full of excitement and never fails to bring crowds to a fervor.
