In his comparatively short career as a senior rider, Marcus has already chalked up both Olympic 2000 and European Championship 1999 team gold medals.

Marcus won his first team gold medal at the 1989 Pony European Championships when he was 15, and has a cupboard full of prizes and trophies from his junior and youth rider days.

After traveling to the United States of America from Germany in April 2003, Marcus Ehning and his wonderfully talented horse, Anka, took it all home after winning the coverted 25th Anniversary Budweiser World Cup title in Las Vegas.
