Peter Wylde’s individual bronze medal at last fall’s World Equestrian Games made him only the second American rider to medal at those quadrennial championships. The first was two-time World Cup champion, Conrad Homfeld. More recently, at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Wylde received a silver medal in the team competition.

Wylde is currently enjoying his second extended tour of Europe. The first was during the mid 90’s when he worked for Gerhard Etter’s sales barn in Switzerland.He returned to the States to become a major player on the Grand Prix circuit, a run capped by individual and team silver medals at the Pan American Games in 1999, after which he returned to Europe.
