Toni Hassmann
Germany

Toni’s barn has been in good form thus far this season with his little mare winning the Helsinki World Cup qualifier and the London Olympia Grand Prix. Toni’s horses, Cyrenaika 106 and Landstreicher 006 have also landed a Grand Prix each, at La Coruna and Verona respectively.

The European young rider champion in 1995, Toni was born into a horsey family and has spent most of his life on horses, a true product of the German system. After leaving home he moved to Hendrik Snoek’s renowned Gut Berl training yard near Munster run by national team coach Kurt Gravemeier. Recently Toni and his wife Anja relocated to a national training centre at Warendorf. According to Ludger Beerbaum, “Toni has so much talent he could make a cow fly.”
