We’re using television to take
showjumping to a whole new level.
As showjumping’s worldwide popularity transitions to this country,
LVWI’s parent company, Equus Entertainment in Sports, is contributing to
the sport’s growth by presenting it on television as never before. Our
coverage of the sport includes cutting-edge techniques, including the use of
moving cameras placed at close proximity and low angles. Television announcers
further enhance the viewing experience by subtly educating viewers who may be
new to the sport. For television audiences, showjumping is no longer the
static, distant event it once was. Rather, it is a visceral experience wherein
the viewer feels like a participant in the action.
In addition, using the hottest, most capable producers and crews available in
sports television, we will present magazine-style stories that introduce
viewers to both riders and four-legged athletes. Our coverage will take viewers
wherever the stories are, including directly into the stables. We will also be
shooting a behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of LVWI, to be
incorporated into a best of / highlights reel available to fans after the
event.
