Respected producer, director and writer of sporting programs, segments and promotional material. After attending the University of Southern California, Jon produced the Emmy award winning “Lakers Pre-Game Show” for two years, including an Emmy nomination for “Best Sports Series”. During his five years as West Coast Field Producer for NBA Entertainment, he produced many segments for “Inside Stuff”, as well as for NBC and TNT game broadcasts. Jon was also tapped by NBC to write national network promotional spots.

Forming MMA Productions in March 2000 Jon has fused his experience and knowledge with his vision of creating independent and groundbreaking television programs encompassing all mediums of communication technology. MMA’s initial project involvement was on “Full Exposure”, the first in a series of documentaries for USA Network. In 2001, Jon, with Pat Harris, was nominated for an EMA Award in the “Best Sports Production” category for a series of features about the XFL. Currently, MMA productions are producing “In This Corner with James Smith” the only boxing magazine show in the country.
