Before becoming an Equestrian Sports Commentator in 1964, Tom was a farmer, then Hunt Secretary to the Duke of Rutland’s hounds for 13 years. Educated at Malvern College and Royal Agricultural College Cirencester, Tom became Arena Commentator for Hickstead, Olympia, Royal Windsor, The Royal Agricultural Show of England and most other County Shows and indoor Arenas throughout the country.

Tom has also commentated for BBC and all independent Television Companies in the U.K., and has served as ‘O’ category International Showjumping Judge. He has also served as Commentator and Judge at shows in Egypt and the Middle East including assisting with the organization.
